Vida Lifestyle is a NY based company founded by Victoria Ida in 2016. We started with luxury hand-dyed yarns and since then have expanded into handmade candles and beauty products. We launch curated collections throughout the year - each one with an imaginative theme. Our favorite themes are dessert and food-inspired, but all of our themes are sophisticated with a touch of whimsy. 

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Our founder, Victoria, fell in love with yarn at a young age when she began crocheting. Since then, yarn, textiles and fashion have been a significant driving point in her life. She has a BFA in Textile Surface Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and worked for 6 years designing home products and women’s loungewear for a home and fashion company in Manhattan. Victoria studied abroad in England and Paris to further her design education in textiles and fashion trends. In 2021, she decided to leave her career to pursue Vida Lifestyle full time. Victoria’s background in fashion and textile design influence her curated collections today; they are the driving force behind her imaginative and flavorful creations.

FUN FACTS

Victoria designed Vida Lifestyle around her favorite dessert, ice cream. Vanilla Ice Cream with Rainbow Sprinkles has been her go-to dessert since she was a kid. This is how the “Ice Skein Cone” logo came to be. The Ice Skein Cone logo is a ball of yarn on top of an ice cream cone. Our first collection in 2016 was called “Dessert for Breakfast”. All of the colors were ice cream flavors. Even the candles she makes are decorated with sprinkles!

When she’s not working you can find her at her favorite local coffee shop, with her dog Foxie or at her newly acquired hobbies: golfing and crossfit!
